I now have one of the Advents as the center channel. They impressed me enough to push the Advents out of the mains spot. This was all an issue until a few days ago when I built some DIY speakers from which I was not expecting really amazing sound. The bass is weak and the dynamic range simply isn't as broad running off this receiver. It is rated at '100w' per channel but I doubt it pushes anywhere near that, especially when running three other speakers. My receiver (which I regret buying) is an inexpensive Panasonic SA-HE100.
